Behind the Names of Scott & Gavin!

Zak and I both wanted to give each twin their own name, without it being too matchy. This is because they are still individuals, and should be treated as such. Still, we also wanted to have them connect, even if in a subtle way since they will always share a special connection. These are the names that we've decided on, some facts about them, and how they are related.

Scott Matthew Graham

Scott - Means "Person from Scotland" in English. The style of this name is "The 70's", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a Tall, Handsome, Friendly, and very Intelligent chap.

Matthew - Means "Gift of God" in Hebrew. The style of this name is "Biblical", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a Cute, Strong, and very Traditional chap.

Graham - Means "From the Gray Homestead" in English. The style of this name is "Celtic", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a Handsome, and very Distinguished person.

Gavin Mitchell Simon

Gavin - Means "White Hawk" in English. The style of this name is "Celtic", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a very Wise gentleman, who displays many Leadership qualities.

Mitchell - Means "Who is Like God?" in English. The style of this name is "Last Names", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a very Masculine, Handsome, Intelligent, Rich, and Thoughtful chap.

Simon - Means "To Be Heard" in Hebrew. The style of this name is "Biblical", and most people would imagine a person with this name to be a Strong, Masculine, and very Poised chap.

There is a way with how many letters are in their first names that both names match. Both Scott and Gavin have five letters. Though we were unable to match the meaning of the names together, they both have two English names with one Hebrew name. To tie the twins together, we decided to let them share each other's initials as well, being SMG and GMS. Lastly, two points that ties all the brothers together: 1) They all have one Hebrew name as I mentioned before - John, James, Matthew, and Simon. 2) All of them have a name that starts with "M" - Malik, Mason, Matthew, and Mitchell. Again, if you were to hear these names together, you wouldn't think they were necessarily twins, yet they do have their similarities.
